Born and raised in Brandon, Breena received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Manitoba in 2007. She graduated again from the University of Manitoba in 2010 with a Bachelor of Laws degree and received her call to the Bar in June 2011. In addition to working at Patersons, Breena is a Board Member and is on the Fundraising Committee for The Women's Resource Centre.

While not at work, Breena likes to spend her time camping, hiking, and riding her bike with her husband, Jonathan and dog, Echo.
