Courtney A. Plouffe, B.H.E., J.D.
Originally from Winnipeg, Courtney received a Bachelor of Human Ecology degree with a major in Family Violence and Child and Adolescent Development from the University of Manitoba (2013). Following this undergraduate degree Courtney completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Manitoba (2016).
Courtney began her career in Law at Paterson, Patterson, Wyman and Abel in the spring of 2016 as an Articling Student. She received her call to the bar on June 13, 2017. Courtney is currently interested in a general practice of Law including family, child protection, real estate, wills and succession planning as well as civil litigation. Courtney is currently a member of the Manitoba and Canadian Bar Association.
While attending Law school Courtney volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada, A Woman’s Place and several charitable community organizations.
Courtney enjoys the outdoors and all seasons of Manitoba weather. Courtney enjoys heading to the cabins in the summer with her partner Ethan, her German Shorthaired Pointer Zeus and Brittany Spaniel Calli. In the winters, she enjoys cross country skiing, skijoring and kick sledding. Courtney played hockey since 5 years of age, but now is involved Hot Yoga, Kick boxing and tries to take in as many Wheat Kings games as she can.
