Courtney A. Plouffe, Articling Student

Originally from Winnipeg, Courtney received a Bachelor of Human Ecology degree with a major in Family Violence and Child and Adolescent Development from the University of Manitoba (2013). Following this undergraduate degree Courtney completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Manitoba (2016).

Courtney began her career in Law at Paterson, Patterson, Wyman and Abel in the spring of 2016 as an articling student. She will be called to the bar in May 2017. Courtney is currently interested in a general practice of Law including family, real estate, wills and succession planning and civil litigation matters. Courtney is currently a member of the Manitoba and Canadian Bar Association.

While attending Law school Courtney volunteered for Pro Bono Students Canada, A Woman’s Place and several charitable community organizations. 

Courtney enjoys the outdoors and all the seasons in Manitoba;  where she runs with her German Shorthaired Pointer Zeus, in the summer and cross country skiing, skijoring, kick sledding in the winter. Courtney has been involved in the hockey community since she was five years old, first playing hockey and recently assisting with coaching youth hockey.
