SARAH J. FAST

Sarah moved to Neepawa in 2016 to article with Charlie Taylor at Taylor Law Office after graduating from the University of Manitoba, Robson Hall Faculty of Law. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the Asper School of Business, majoring in Human Resources Management/Industrial Relations and Marketing. Her practice is solicitor focused, dealing with an array of Real Estate transactions, Wills & Estate Planning and Corporate work.

Sarah’s past volunteer experience includes being a member of the Regional Activities Committee for Métis Child and Family Services, volunteering at the YMCA, providing job shadowing experience to high school students, coaching high school hockey, participating in charity hockey tournaments, acting as Secretary for the Aboriginal Business Education Partners at the Asper School of Business, participating in the Law Society of Manitoba’s Lawyers for Literacy events, driving for Operation Red Nose and delivering Christmas hampers for the Christmas Cheer Board.

Currently, Sarah is the President of the Beautiful Plains Community Foundation, actively involved with the Neepawa Rotary Club and is on the Board for the Whitemouth Child Care Centre.

On a personal level, Sarah has played AA and Junior hockey and regional soccer. She enjoys travelling and reading, is fluent in French and speaks conversational level Spanish. When she is not at work you can find her at the lake with her husband, their two children and their dog, Chase.

A: My guilty pleasure movie is anything Hallmark.

Q: What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?

A: I am happiest when I am at the cabin/lake.

Q: What would your pet say about you if they could talk?

A: If my pet could talk, he would likely tell me to stop smothering him.

Q: What are some of your favorite memorable moments?

A: Two cool moments I have were meeting Keith Urban and taking a surfing lesson with Jason Segel in Hawaii.
